My TiideLap pre-fellowship experience
I

I am a woman in Tech, supporting the Tech For girls iniative, most especially those in the low income earning class, that cannot afford to send their child to school, I support giving girls the platform to learn having a hub with system and giving girls laptop and data so these cannot be a barrier. I am a preacher of Tech in the society.

After registering for the pre-fellowship,I got am email for the assessment test but I could not tell how I deleted from my mail m, on the faithful day of the ore-assessment, I was prompted to look for the mail but couldn't find it I later had to call the program Co-ordinator which I kater get to know his name as early as 6am and he attended to me.

Fast forward, after writing the assessment, i got into the prefellowship and it was a different level of learning each week we had 2 CCAT test, assignment , group governor, soft and communication skills. Above all, eviction every week.

During the training we were taught HTML,CSS, JavaScript, Git, Excel and MYSQL. I learnt new things and was pushed to do more research

During our 5th week we were split into groups , Each group were given project in which they will have to work on and each group were assigned a mentor, our mentor made us to understand how to understand the project, assisting us through the process of presentation and guiding us in developing the project

Having had my fair challenges faced, I was able to scale through it. One unique thing I learnt was the ability to make good presentation, think of a problem and provide solutions, we were made to think out of the box, work in a team and I remembered staying awake all night to just to meet up with design and continuing the next morning .

Our mentor was there to help us and I also appreciate Mr Ayodele and other mentor who were present to criticize and also guide us through each presentation.

Today am a better person than when I started and guess What. During our Orientation,Mr Shams the program Co-ordinator told us that by the end of the six weeks program we will be thinking differently and right now I will boldly say that I am a different person compared to when I started.

Thank you TiideLap for the learning.
